Overview

The Goals widget is a helpful tool to help you set and track your personal and wellness goals. You can find this widget on the portal's Track page. Follow these steps to create and manage your goals effectively.

Accessing the Goals Widget

  1. Navigate to the Track Page: From the home page, go to Track on the main menu.
  2. Locate the Goals Summary Widget: Scroll down to find the Goals summary widget.
  3. Set/Update Goals: Click the button labeled Set/Update Goals to start creating your goals.


Important: To receive updates and program information through email, ensure that email notifications are turned on (found in your Profile). This is necessary to send yourself goal reminders.


Types of Goals

You can create various types of goals using the widget:

  1. Motivation

    • Start Date and End Date: Choose the duration for your goal.
    • Description: Describe your personal goal.
    • Reminder: Add a reminder (see the Reminder section below).
  2. Do an Activity

    • Start Date and End Date: Choose the duration for your goal.
    • Description: Describe your personal goal.
    • Activity: Select an activity from the extensive list (e.g., biking, running, weight lifting, gardening).
    • Frequency and Duration: Define how many minutes and how many times a week.
    • Reminder: Add a reminder (see the Reminder section below).
  3. Personal Goal

    • Start Date and End Date: Choose the duration for your goal.
    • Description: Describe your personal goal.
    • Tracking Frequency: Specify how often you want to track something.
       
    • Image: Choose an image for your goal.
    • Reminder: Add a reminder (see the Reminder section below).
  4. Weight

    • Start Date and End Date: Choose the duration for your goal.
    • Description: Describe your personal goal.
    • Current Weight: Enter your current weight.
    • Weight Goal: Set your weight goal.
    • Achievement Frequency: Choose to achieve the goal every X number of days/weeks/months or by the goal end date.
    • Reminder: Add a reminder (see the Reminder section below).


Setting Up Reminders

You can send yourself reminders of your goals to stay on track.

  • Repeat Frequency: Choose to repeat reminders daily, weekly, or monthly.
  • Delivery Method: Select email as the delivery method.
  • Email Subject and Body: Customize the subject and body of the email.
